Inspired by the landmark 2002 report from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism College Task Force, A Call to Action: Changing the Culture of Drinking at U.S. Colleges, this new resource from Penn State’s Piazza Center builds on a legacy of culture change in higher education. Launched on April 9, 2026—twenty-four years to the day after the release of A Call to Action—the Framework reflects a renewed commitment to advancing prevention science and institutional leadership.
