Wear Purple to Bring Awareness

Your campus or organization can pick a day during NHPW to wear purple to bring awareness to the issue of hazing.

Awareness Posters

The following posters are designed to bring awareness to hazing prevention. Each is designed to be printed on 11″x17″ paper which is perfect for campus or organizational facilities and houses. Note: “Event” versions of the posters have a block at the bottom for you to write the name of your event, date/time and location.

Plan a Social Media Campaign

National Hazing Prevention Week is a great opportunity for your campus or organization to spark conversations, inspire action, and reinforce your commitment to preventing hazing. To help, we’ve created three social media campaign concepts—each offering a different approach to engaging your community throughout the week.

Think of these campaigns as a starting point, not a prescription. You’re welcome to use one campaign from start to finish, blend elements from two or all three, or simply borrow the ideas that best fit your campus or organization culture and communication style. Our goal is to provide inspiration while encouraging you to be creative and make the messages your own. (HPN members also have access to editable graphics for the Facts & Voices campaign for quick customization.)

We encourage you to share at least one post each day during National Hazing Prevention Week across your campus or organization’s social media platforms.
