Fundraise for Hazing Prevention Network

Hazing Prevention Network is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering people to prevent hazing. Our goal is to educate people about the dangers of hazing, advocate for change, and engage the community in strategies to prevent hazing. We are a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Student organizations have the power to create meaningful change on campus and beyond. By hosting a fundraiser for Hazing Prevention Network, your group can actively support efforts to end hazing while showing your commitment to respect, inclusion, and student well-being. Fundraising for hazing prevention demonstrates your leadership in creating safer, stronger communities.

Your fundraiser can be impactful and engaging. Consider hosting a “No More Hazing” Awareness Walk or Run, a purple-out themed event selling purple snacks or merchandise, or a restaurant give-back night where a local restaurant donates a percentage of sales. You could also organize a social media challenge with anti-hazing pledges, a trivia night, or a talent show featuring hazing prevention messages to raise funds and educate attendees simultaneously.

No matter what fundraiser you choose, your efforts directly support programs and resources that empower students to prevent hazing. Your organization’s leadership can make a lasting difference and inspire others to join this important mission. Hazing Prevention Network is here to provide guidance and promotional support to help make your fundraiser a success.

Additional ideas…

  • Tabling: Set up a table with a theme such as “Donut Haze”, “Let’s Taco ‘Bout Hazing,” “These Hands Don’t Haze” – Collection donations and display paper donuts/tacos/hands with your donors names)
  • Organize a Charity Walk or Run: Plan a fun walkathon or run to raise funds for hazing prevention. Participants can register and collect pledges from friends, family, and fellow students.

  • Themed Dinners or Food Festivals: Organize a food event where you feature a particular cuisine, such as an international food festival or a pizza night. Charge an entrance fee for unlimited tastings.
