The Hazing Prevention Network is pleased to announce a new partnership with RISE Partnerships, naming the organization as HPN’s Preferred Strategic Consulting Partner for institution-specific hazing prevention consulting and strategic planning.
For more than two decades, both organizations have worked to advance safer campus communities through education, research, and practical prevention strategies. This partnership brings together HPN’s national leadership in hazing prevention education with RISE’s innovative consulting approach that helps colleges and universities better understand the unique conditions that contribute to hazing within their own communities.
“Many institutions are already doing the right things, and hazing still happens,” said Dan Wrona, CEO of RISE Partnerships. “They’re following good practice, but something in the system isn’t working the way it should.”
While many institutions have invested in comprehensive policies, educational programs, reporting systems, and conduct processes, hazing can still occur. Rather than viewing this as a failure of effort, RISE helps institutions identify where prevention strategies may not be working together as intended. Through a precision-based approach, campuses gain a clearer understanding of their own environment and the conditions that allow hazing to occur—providing actionable insights that go beyond surveys, checklists, or one-size-fits-all solutions.

The partnership provides HPN members and the broader higher education community with direct access to RISE’s consulting expertise, helping institutions strengthen existing prevention efforts by identifying opportunities for greater alignment, effectiveness, and long-term impact.
