Hazing Prevention Network Announces Board and Officer Elections

INDIANAPOLIS — Hazing Prevention Network is pleased to announce the election and reelection of members to its Board of Directors, as well as its officers for the coming year.

Reelected to the Board are Brad Beacham, Executive Director and CEO of Sigma Nu Fraternity; Kathleen Wiant, nationally recognized hazing prevention advocate and co-founder of the Collin Wiant Foundation; Travis Apgar, Vice President for Student Affairs at Case Western Reserve University and longtime hazing prevention educator; and Lily Gruver, a graphic design student at Savannah College of Art and Design, who will continue serving as the Board’s student representative.

Jennifer Mores

Jennifer Mores was newly elected to the Board. Mores brings more than 20 years of experience in national organizational leadership, governance, risk management, housing oversight and student safety. A member and past National Vice President of Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity, she has also been an active advocate for hazing prevention through legislative engagement and industry-wide health and safety initiatives.

“We are fortunate to have a Board that brings together leaders from higher education, fraternal organizations, advocacy, risk management and the student perspective,” said Todd Shelton, Executive Director of Hazing Prevention Network. “We are grateful for Brad, Kathleen, Travis and Lily’s continued service and excited to welcome Jennifer and the experience and perspective she brings to our work. Their collective leadership will help HPN continue expanding our impact and advancing meaningful hazing prevention efforts nationwide.”

The Board also elected its officers, with Bonnie Wunsch serving as President, Travis Apgar as Treasurer and Adam Cantley as Secretary. Wunsch is Executive Director of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority; Apgar serves as Vice President for Student Affairs at Case Western Reserve University; and Cantley is Associate Vice President for Student Wellbeing, Support and Advocacy at the University of Delaware.

Hazing Prevention Network is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors whose members contribute expertise from higher education, fraternal organizations, athletics, law, advocacy and hazing prevention research and education.
